Description
Durable TeraFlex Axle for Tough Off-Road Machines. The Teraflex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing for 4+ inch lifts is the tough replacement for your weak factory front axle housing. Ideal for extreme off-road vehicles with 4+ inches of lift, this axle housing can withstand the harsh off-road driving expected of it without fail. This heavy-duty front axle housing includes an adapter allowing the use of both ARB and Detroit Lockers. The axle housing is equipped with OEM style pre-installed inner seals and durable upper arm bushings. This Tera44 axle housing also comes pre-tapped for bump stop extension and pre-drilled for limit straps and lower spring retainers. All this is done with ultimate off-road functionality in mind. Teraflex’s axle housing is constructed from a ductile cast iron and reinforced with an increased number of rib gussets.
Built for the Extreme. This serious off-road performance upgrade is intentionally equipped with integrated lower FlexArm skid plates. The overbuilt 44 axle housing is still practical to maintain with its bottom oil drain hole for simple fluid changes. The extremely durable axle is covered in a premium UV protected triple-stage powder coat to keep your rig protected from corrosion. This heavy-duty axle housing is built to OEM specifications so the stock housing’s components from axle shafts to ball joints can be used. Teraflex’s bolt-on axle housing is engineered, designed and built in the USA.
Installation. Installation of this heavy-duty axle housing replacement will take roughly six hours. The heavy-duty replacement is a direct fit and should install as OEM would. Tools required for the job should not be more than simple hand tools.
Lifetime Warranty. The Terra44 axle comes with a one-year unlimited mileage warranty and a lifetime structural warranty.
Application. The Teraflex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models with a 4+ inch lift.
