Description
Dependable Performance. This Teraflex Front Tera44 Axle with 4.88 Gears for 4+ inch Lift is made for the rigors of off-roading. It works with Jeeps lifted 4 inches or higher, and it has a 4.88 gear ratio. The pre-installed axle seals require no maintenance, so this axle is a convenient choice. When you choose this front axle for your lifted Rubicon, you get a part that stands up to steep inclines and demanding terrains.
Requires Adjustable Control Arms. With a 4-inch lift or higher, adjustable control arms are required for caster angle adjustments. Enjoy the new maintenance-free adjustable Alpine Flexarms 1415500 (front lower) & 1415520 (front upper), or Monster Flexarms 1653700 (front lower) & 1653800 (front upper).
Strong Construction. The housing of this axle is crafted from ductile cast iron, so it’s extremely resistant to breakage. The durable steel tubing further enhances the durability and strength of this axle, which has a smooth radius bottom that allows it to travel over off-roading hazards without incurring damage.
Hard Installation. It can take as long as 6 hours or more to install this front axle. For best results, professional installation is recommended.
Includes Warranty. Teraflex backs this front axle with a 1-year/unlimited mileage warranty. Refer to the manufacturer’s warranty documentation for complete terms and conditions.
