No Frills Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector comes preinstalled with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape, making its installation a no-frills peel-and-stick procedure. Prior to installation, the mounting surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before wiping down with the included alcohol pads to ensure proper adhesion of the tape. Additionally, when mounting this component in cold weather, the mounting surface should first be warmed up to temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the adhesive tape works best in warmer temperatures. You can do this using a heat gun or hairdryer.

Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
