These features combine to give your hood a streamlined style accent that complements your Tacoma’s rugged design. What’s more, this hood guard’s sturdy construction makes it more than capable of protecting your hood from kicked-up debris, flying concrete chips, insects, and other hazards.
Sturdy Build Quality. This hood protector is manufactured from high-grade ABS plastic for superior durability and resistance to cracking. This plastic then injection-molded following exact specifications to give you a hood shield that fits your hood like a glove. Finally, this component comes in an OEM grade Silver Sky Metallic finish, enabling you to color match it with your truck.
Simple Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector mounts onto your truck using automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape for a simple peel-and-stick process. Prior to mounting this component onto your hood, please thoroughly clean and dry its surface before wiping down with the included alcohol pads to ensure maximum adhesion. Also when mounting this hood guard in cold weather, the mounting surfaces should first be warmed up to temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the adhesive is more effective in warmer temperatures. You can do this using a heat gun or hairdryer.
Application. This Aeroskin Silver Sky Metallic Hood Protector fits all 2016 to 2023 Toyota Tacoma models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
