This hood protector is designed to conform to the lines of your hood at its leading edge. This factor gives this area a flowing styling cue that complements your Tacoma’s muscular design. This hood guard isn’t just good looking, as its high-strength thermoplastic construction makes it more than capable of protecting your hood from scratches, dents, and dings from small flying hazards.

      High-Strength Build Quality. This hood protector is made to precise specifications utilizing high-quality ABS plastic and an advanced injection molding process. These factors contribute to giving you a hood shield that offers exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion as well as an exact OE fit. Rounding out its construction is a dark smoke finish that adds a striking contrast to your truck’s overall look.

      User-Friendly Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector is designed to mount onto your hood’s leading edge using the included automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape. Your truck’s hood should first be washed and dried before wiping this down with the included alcohol pads to ensure efficient adhesion of the tape to the mounting surface. The mounting surfaces should also first be warmed up to 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit when mounting this component in cold weather. This is because the adhesive works best in these warm conditions. This can be accomplished using a heat gun or hairdryer.

      Application. This Aeroskin Dark Smoke Hood Protector fits all 2016 to 2023 Toyota Tacoma models.

      Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
