The mounting surfaces should also first be warmed up to 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit when mounting this component in cold weather. This is because the adhesive works best in these warm conditions. This can be accomplished using a heat gun or hairdryer.

Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
