This hood protector features a rigid thermoplastic construction and is designed to cover your hood’s leading edge. This allows it to act as a shield and deflect any flying debris keeping your hood scratch, ding, and dent-free. What’s more, this component’s contoured design and the dark smoke color profile add a slick style to your front end that’s sure to turn heads.

      Rigid Build Quality. This hood protector is built from high-grade ABS plastic, making it exceptionally durable, lightweight, and highly resistant to deterioration. Furthermore, this component is precision-molded to OE specifications for a tight fit and clean look. Finally, this hood guard features a dark smoke finish that adds a menacing and contrasting look to your front.

      Fast Install Procedure. Installing this Aeroskin hood protector is a relatively fast procedure as it comes preinstalled with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape. That said, it is highly recommended that your hood’s leading edge first be thoroughly washed and dried before being wiped down with the included alcohol pads. This is to promote the ideal adhesion of the tape to your hood. Also, the mounting surfaces should first be warmed-up to 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit when mounting this component in cold weather. This is because the adhesive is more effective on warmer surfaces. You can accomplish this using a heat gun or hairdryer.

      Application. This Aeroskin Dark Smoke Hood Protector fits all 2005 to 2011 Toyota Tacoma models.

      Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
