Construction and Appearance. This winch features a durable metallic graphite powder coat finish which offers excellent corrosion resistance and rugged aesthetics. It includes a 1.6 HP permanent magnet motor that provides dynamic braking, 3-stage planetary gearing for smooth operation, and a 4-way stainless steel roller fairlead to guide the wire rope. The wire rope measures 7/32 inches thick and 40 feet long and is paired with a heavy-duty 1/4 inch clevis hook to handle heavy loads.

Installation. Installation of the SP 35 winch is straightforward with a mounting bolt pattern of 4.88" x 3.0". Some adaptation may be required depending on the vehicle, but no major modifications or drilling are usually necessary for a secure fit.
