WiFi Updateable. The Superchips TrailDash 3 Tuner is WiFi-capable meaning you will no longer have to plug it into your computer to receive the latest firmware updates, but that is still an option. Once setup with your Wi-Fi password, the TrailDash 3 will download the latest firmware updates via the internet. It is recommended to update your TrailDash 3 to ensure you have the latest software updates and calibration files before installation. Updates are available through Superchips.
Data Logging and Monitoring. With a full color high definition screen, the TrailDash 3 will allow you to keep a close eye on critical engine parameters. By simply plugging the supplied connector into the OBD2 port below the steering wheel, you will be able to read your vehicles data in real time. With the TrailDash 3 you can monitor parameters such as coolant temperature, air intake temperature (AIT), spark timing, battery voltage, throttle position and much more.
Diagnostics Tool. The Superchips TrailDash 3 Tuner can also be used as a diagnostic code reader. Save yourself time and money by reading and clearing your own Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) rather than paying a dealer to do the same. It's as easy as a few simple steps.
Easy to Load; Easy to Restore. When you load your Superchips tune on your vehicle, the tuner automatically stores your vehicle's factory settings. To return to the original factory settings, just plug the tuner back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you're done. This is ideal for visiting dealerships for warranty work.
PCM Swap. This PCM Swap Kit includes a TrailDash 3 Tuner and a 1-time unlocked PCM cross shipment for your Chrysler/Dodge/RAM/Jeep vehicle. This means you must exchange your locked factory PCM with a modified PCM from Superchips. Note: You must send your original PCM from the vehicle. Junkyard, Remanufactured, or Salvaged PCMs will not be accepted as core returns. Registering on the manufacturer’s website is required.
