Awesome Stopping Power. The SP Performance Rear Pair Slotted Rotors with Black Zinc Plating is the ideal rear brake rotor upgrade that will give your Wrangler JK awesome stopping power. These rotors are engineered to provide improved brake pad bite, cooling, and durability while also decreasing brake dust, outgassing, and hydroplaning. These factors result in better braking performance for all types of driving scenarios.
Sturdy Build Quality. These brake rotors cast from heavy-grade iron for optimal strength. These rotors then receive precision-machining and balancing before being disc ground to OEM specifications. Once its final form is achieved, the rotors are then finished in a black zinc plating for excellent corrosion protection and stylish looks.
Directional Slotted Design with Mini-Slots. These rotors feature a unique directional slotted design wherein the slots alternate between full- and half-length slots. This specialized design provides more efficient cooling, as well as a reduction in outgassing and brake dust. This, in turn, provides better brake pad bite for more immediate stopping power. Additionally, the slots feature chamfered edges which help prevent cracking.
Professional Install Recommended. These SP Performance rotors are designed to replace your factory rotors without needing any changes in your brake system. However, a disc brake runout gauge is necessary for proper installation, which most home garages do not have. You will also need to have your wheels aligned after installation. As such, professional installation is recommended.
