Description
Maximum Braking. Provide your Wrangler with maximum braking performance with the SP Performance Front Pair Peak Series Slotted Rotors with Black Zinc Plating. These front brake rotors provide upgraded braking, thanks to improvements in cooling, durability, and brake pad bite, as well as a reduction in outgassing, hydroplaning, and brake dust. The result is a performance you can count on, even when driving your vehicle hard.
High-Strength Build Quality. These rotors feature a high-grade cast iron construction ensuring superior strength. The rotors are then precision-machined and balanced before being disc ground to OEM specifications. Lastly, these rotors are plated in black zinc ensuring complete corrosion protection and awesome looks.
Unique Peak Slotted Design. Providing these front rotors with excellent performance is a unique peak slotted design. This design features a series of bi-directional slots that resemble a 5-point star originating from the hub. This design limits brake dust build-up, outgassing, and hydroplaning, while also ensuring more efficient cooling to reduce fade, improving stopping power. Moreover, these slots do not have sharp edges which can potentially contribute to cracking.
Professional Installation Recommended. These SP Performance rotors mount onto your Jeep without the need for modifications. However, a disc brake runout gauge is necessary for proper installation, which most home garages do not have. You will also need to have your wheels aligned after installation. Consequently, professional installation is recommended.
