Description
Designed for Drag Racing. When you need a high-performance, drag racing clutch this South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch is a great choice. It features a puck-style disc that’s paired with a heavy-duty pressure plate. This allows the clutch to deliver performance by quickly and reliably transferring torque from the engine to the wheels. Note that due to its aggressive, racing characteristics it is not recommended for street use.
Racing-Level Performance. The puck-style disc used in the South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch has been modified, with the removal of the cushion between the linings. This keeps the clutch pedal travel quick and short. Additionally, the high-quality Graphite Impregnated Ceramic friction material provides excellent durability and torque capacity – characteristics ideal for racing.
Competition Quality. The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch is made from high-grade materials and engineered to withstand the extreme demands of drag racing. The heavy-duty pressure plate is designed for increased clamp loads which also gives it an extended service life.
Twelve Months/ 12,000 Miles Limited Warranty. The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship. Note that Warranty Registration must be submitted within 30 days of purchase to avail of the warranty. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Other exclusions will apply.
Application. The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch is designed for 1989 to 1992 4.0L Jeep Wrangler YJ models.
Flywheel not Included. The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Clutch doesn’t include a flywheel. When reusing a flywheel, it must be resurfaced for proper functionality. Note that when used in Drag Racing, a Single Mass SFI Approved Flywheel is required.
