Description
Ideal for Towing. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is ideal if you want to do some towing or are just looking for a long-lasting upgrade for your factory clutch. It’s designed with an improved clamp load for an extended service life. Furthermore, it’s designed to be compatible with the OE flywheel, helping reduce the cost of the upgrade.
High Performance with Less Effort. South Bend designed its clutches to utilize leverage ratio technology and a premium friction material. This means that the Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is able to deliver higher torque with minimum pedal effort.
Quality Construction. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is fabricated using high-grade materials for excellent performance and rapid heat dissipation. Additionally, it’s made to be tougher and more durable than the YJ’s factory clutch.
Twelve Months/ 12,000 Miles Limited Warranty. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is warrantied against defects in materials or workmanship. Note that Warranty Registration must be submitted within 30 days of purchase to avail of the warranty. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Other exclusions will apply.
Application. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is designed for 1989-1992 4.0L Jeep Wrangler YJ models.
Flywheel not Included. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch doesn’t include a flywheel, but it can be used with the factory flywheel. When reusing the flywheel, it must be resurfaced for proper functionality.
