A Better Ratio. When you’ve lifted your Jeep and have added bigger tires, the original ratio of your ring gear and pinion on both axles is holding you back. You’re losing power and performance since the stock ring and pinion wasn’t designed for such sweet customization. So when you upgrade to this one, you’re going to see improved performance on the trail and on the road, and even better gas mileage thanks to the bigger gears taking strain off the engine.
Takes the Heat. This kit is crafted from incredibly powerful 8620 steel, which has been heat-treated for maximum durability under pressure and optimal performance.
Installation. Professional installation is required here. Why, you ask? Because this kit, while simple, requires a complete disassembly of your Wrangler JK’s rear axle. It will take advanced hand tools, a car lift or jack stands, and about a day to install them.
