Description
Advanced Suspension System. The 4.5" X-Factor X2 Flat-Belly 4" Stretch Coilover Long-Arm Suspension System dramatically improves suspension geometry and ride quality for LJ Jeep Wrangler models. Designed to offer a full weld-in coilover front suspension while maintaining a traditional spring and shock setup at the rear, it enhances off-road performance with a unique 4" rear stretch using longer control arms. This system achieves excellent stability and ride comfort on and off-road.
_x000D__x000D_Durable High-Performance Construction. The suspension system utilizes high misalignment control arms equipped with award-winning Adventure Series Joints and Pro-X Krawler Joints made from BASF thermo-elastomer material, allowing over 95 degrees of movement. The design features a full flat-belly chassis clearance and tuned triple-rate coil springs front and rear to provide superior handling and ground clearance. All hardware is premium stainless steel, including extended brake lines and sway bar links.
_x000D__x000D_Installation Details. Installation requires removal of OEM rear upper control arm mounts and a custom cat-back exhaust for clearance. The system requires the use of body mounts lifting the structure approximately 1.25" or greater and may need shock relocation brackets. Detailed instructions and hardware are included to aid professional installers. Some steering components are sold separately based on axle configuration.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty Coverage. The system includes an abuse-proof lifetime warranty on all hard parts.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Fits Jeep Wrangler LJ with OEM axle control arm mounting widths (Dana 30/44). Some adaptation is required, including rear fuel tank conversion, body modifications for the rear stretch, and use of specific body lift components. Designed for vehicles equipped to accept a SYE with a CV driveshaft.
