Description
High Clearance Axle Mounts. The Outta Hand Fabrication High Clearance Rear Axle Mounts provide a critical 2.5-inch increase in ground clearance to prevent your JK’s rear axle brackets from catching on rocks while off-roading. These mounts improve geometry when paired with compatible frame side mounts and are designed specifically for the rear Dana 44 axle, delivering enhanced durability and trail capability.
Robust Construction. Fabricated from 1/4" high-quality hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRPO) steel, these mounts are built to endure rigorous use. They come raw and uncoated, allowing for custom finishing by the installer, and include a precision jig plate to ensure accurate placement during installation.
Professional Installation Required. Installing these mounts requires complete removal of the factory lower control arm, shock, and sway bar mounts from the axle, with welding necessary to secure the new mounts. Some grinding may be needed to accommodate 1 ton axle tubes, especially for larger diameter tubes.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 2007 through 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models and are incompatible with 3" bodied joints.
