Consider the Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30 Ring Gear and Pinion Kit with a 3.73 gear ratio for your replacement. It exceeds OEM quality but follows OEM specifications to achieve the required backlash and clearance for optimal performance. Breathe new life into your classic Jeep Wrangler with a new ring and pinion gear set.
Surpass OEM Quality. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30 Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is made of Grade-8620 steel. This is a triple-alloy steel that features a stronger core compared to the steel used on ordinary OEM gears. The parts are triple-lapped to achieve the precise specification and heat-treated for maximum hardness. Not only that, each gear is Rockwell-tested to guarantee the strength and durability of each gear.
Prevent Speedometer Mistakes. Any change in the gear ratio could throw off your speedometer readings. You’ll need to update your onboard computer to take into account the new gear ratio.
Professional Installation Recommended. The assembly of your differential is not a project for novice or beginner mechanics. That’s why a professional mechanic is advised to help you with the installation of your new gear set.
Product Warranty. Nitro Gear & Axle warrants their Dana 30 Ring Gear and Pinion Kit to be free from defects such as material and workmanship issues for a period of 2 years. Technical Note. Jeep 4x4s will need to have matching front and rear gear ratios. Engaging your 4WD with mismatched gears may result in serious damages to axles, drive shafts, and other components.
