The Moose Knuckle Offroad Jowl Split Shackle 3/4 and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo; Atomic Silver/Black Hole provides a patented, tool-free recovery shackle system designed to speed up vehicle recovery in off-road situations. It enables quick connection and disconnection of recovery ropes or straps without removing shackles from bumpers or hitch receivers, improving safety and efficiency during recoveries.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The shackle body is forged from chromoly steel and finished with a durable powder coating available in selectable colors, while the pin is crafted from black nickel-plated, high-strength grade 8 carbon steel. The Mohawk 2.0 receiver is warm forged from 6082 aluminum with grain flow orientation for enhanced strength, featuring a UV and weather-resistant anodized silver finish with laser-etched logos for a premium and rugged look.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires only metric M18 cap screws and a 1/4 inch socket wrench to attach or remove the shackle pin. No drilling or specialized tools are needed, allowing for quick and easy setup even in off-road conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Application. This recovery shackle and receiver combo fits most 2.0 or 2.5-inch D-ring tow shackle receiver hitch brackets with a 7/8-inch pin hole and mounting width up to 1-1/4 inches. Some adaptation may be necessary depending on the specific vehicle configuration.
