Description
Efficient Oil Catch Can System. The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can System in black is engineered to intercept and capture blow-by gases from both the PCV and CCV systems before they enter the intake, protecting sensitive engine components from oil, carbon, and fuel contamination. This system supports engine durability by preventing fuel dilution, preserving lubricant viscosity, and maintaining proper fuel octane levels.
Construction and Appearance. Each catch can is crafted from black anodized 6061 billet aluminum and features internal baffling and air turbulators to enhance separation of oil, fuel, and water vapor. The cans are sealed with durable Viton O-rings. A robust 2.5mm-thick steel bracket provides secure mounting that resists vibration and harsh off-road conditions.
Installation. Installation requires moderate effort and includes direct-fit PCV and CCV hoses with pre-installed factory-style quick-disconnect fittings for a clean, secure fit. The system mounts without the need for drilling and includes all necessary hardware for installation.
