Description
Rear Disc Brake Conversion. The Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit with Emergency Brake, Drilled and Slotted Rotors offers a direct bolt-on upgrade to the rear braking system. It converts the rear end of your Jeep from drum to disc brakes, improving stopping power and safety while maintaining an integrated emergency brake system.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features drilled and slotted 12-inch rotors with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern for enhanced heat dissipation. The calipers are standard cast iron equipped with emergency brake functionality. Stainless steel braided hoses ensure durability and improved brake fluid flow. All necessary hardware and emergency cables are included for a complete installation.
Installation. Installation requires removing the axle and fitting the components using the supplied hardware. No drilling or vehicle modifications are needed to complete the installation.
Warranty. This kit is backed by limited warranty coverage for peace of mind.
Application. Fits 1976-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, and CJ8 models equipped with AMC 20 rear ends only. This kit is not compatible with DANA 44 rear ends; please verify your axle type prior to purchase.
