Hey guys, Eric from ExtremeTerrain. Today, we're checking out these Lange Originals Coyote Mirrors, for all 2020 and later Jeep Gladiators. You should really be checking these out if you like to run doorless with your Gladiator and you need a road-legal option to mount mirrors to your truck. The two things I really like the best about this setup is the style. It's kind of a throwback if you look at pictures of the old Willys Jeeps from like the World War II era. These kind of mimic that same design with that round mirror right here. It's kind of a nice throwback to the old Jeep heritage. And the other thing I like about this is where it mounts right here. It gives it a nice, solid platform. Some other options out there mount in the door hinges. And I've heard feedback from a lot of people that sometimes those push back when you're traveling at higher speeds. Now once you mount these up, these coyote mirrors will lock into place very firmly. You have two options. You can either use a flush set screw or this type of screw that we have mounted on right now that you can pinch with your fingers and adjust as needed. Now that's kind of handy if you don't wanna carry a tool around with you all the time. However, if you do want that more flush mount, go ahead and use the set screw that's included in the kit. Now, this kit is really made from nice quality materials. Uses billet aluminum for the stem and the mounting block right here, and it's backed by a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Priced under $150, this is an excellent option to stay road-legal when you wanna take the doors off your Jeep. And as far as the installation goes, as you'll see here in a minute, it's the easiest one out of three wrenches you'll see here at ExtremeTerrain. Give yourself about 20 minutes to get both of them mounted on your Jeep.So let's take a quick look at the tools you're gonna need, and I'll show you how to get these installed. All right. Tools you're gonna see in this install, guys, include electric impact wrench and a T40 Torx bit with it. We're gonna use the Jeep wrench from the kit and the T50 Torx bit from the kit, a 1/4-inch socket wrench, a 12-millimeter socket, and a trim removal tool. All right, guys, to get started, we're gonna have to remove our door here. And first off, we're gonna take out the two T50 Torx bit screws right here and here, and then we can go to the inside and disconnect the wiring harness connection for the door. All right. We're simply just going to use the tool that comes with your Jeep. And again, it's a T50.All right, guys, we're gonna remove this cover, pull it straight back, there are two lock or pitch clips in there. And then we need to disconnect the wiring harness here. We need to push up on this little lock tab. It's red, and then pull this out. Might be a little stiff if you've never disconnected this before. Like that. Unplug, and then this simply slides up off of the post. Now we're ready to lift away our door. All right. Now, get a T40 Torx bit for this bolt right here. All right, guys, go ahead and lift the door up off the hinge and carry it away. All right. Now we're gonna remove this cowl piece. We're gonna get all four of these bolts here using a T40. All right, guys, now with our cowl piece removed, we're gonna take this out of the kit and it has this little lip right here that slides underneath, and we line it up on this hole. Grab the longer Torx bit out of your kit. We're gonna use that. It needs to be longer, obviously, because we have this piece to account for, and now we're gonna put it up to the Jeep. All right. Replace these bolts. The longer ones go up top. All right. Grab your mirror piece guys and a rod, I'm gonna get this started on here. And using a lock washer and one of the nuts from the kit, I'm just gonna get that started there, and you can tighten that down using a 12-millimeter socket. All right, guys, now this simply mounts right here, and you can adjust it as you want. You might want somebody sitting in the seat kind of giving you direction as far as how you want to set it up. And then you have two options for mounting a set screw in here to lock the rod in place. You can either use this small set screw that will go in. And once you tighten it down, it'll be flush and less visible, but you will need a tool to loosen it and adjust. Or you can use this set screw that has the flange that you can use with your fingers. And you just start that in and it's a little bit more visible as you can see, but you can adjust it on the fly without any tools. All right. What we just showed you here on the driver side, go ahead and repeat on the passenger side. The installation procedure is identical. And that pretty much wraps up this review and install of these Lange Originals Coyote Mirrors, fitting all 2020, and later Jeep Gladiators. And, of course, for everything Gladiator, keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
