This Cold Air Intake facilitates the cooler, oxygen-rich air to fill your combustion chamber for an optimized air-fuel mixture. The resulting enhanced airflow delivers a significant increase in power, torque, and throttle response. This intake system consists of high-quality components to give you long-lasting, high-flow performance.
Recalibration Not Required. This Series 77 Cold Air Intake does not require reprogramming of your Tundra’s computer. With advanced engineering, this intake system boosts engine power using the factory tune. ExtremeTerrain, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your Tundra’s ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Performance Air Filter. The air filter included in this Series 77 High-Flow Intake Kit is designed for an excellent filtration capacity with its cotton media. It features a pleated style for efficient dust holding capacity. Additionally, its oversized, 9.50-inch height offers maximum air volume for enhanced air dynamics. Furthermore, it is designed to go for up to 100,000 miles before requiring cleaning, depending on the driving conditions.
Premium Construction. Each of the Series 77 Performance Cold Air Intake component is built for high performance and reliable functionality. Its durable heat shield efficiently keeps the hotter air in the engine compartment from getting into the intake system. The high-flow, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube is engineered to powerfully direct the cooler air into the combustion chamber. High-strength stainless steel clamps are also included for a secure installation.
Direct-Fit, Bolt-On Installation. The Series 77 intake system is engineered to fit into your Tundra’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. Whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or are new to wrenching on your own vehicle, this air intake system is a quick and easy way to add more performance to your Tundra. The installation can be completed using standard hand tools and light-to-moderate mechanical skills.
Limited Warranty. K&N offers a limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship that lasts for 10 years or a million miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was originally purchased. Not CARB Certified. This Series 77 Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time. The use of this device on vehicles used on public streets or highways is strictly prohibited in California and others states that have adopted California emission regulations. It is legal only for racing vehicles, which may never be used, registered, or licensed on the highway.
