Engineered to replicate an authentic 40,000-pound locomotive horn, it provides outstanding sound volume for trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles requiring a commanding presence. This system is ideal for automotive enthusiasts who want reliability and powerful performance in demanding environments.
Construction and Appearance. This train horn system features precision-tuned stainless steel trumpets finished with a black XCR 2.0 salt-spray resistant coating for superior corrosion protection. The 3-gallon air tank is constructed of all steel with a glossy black epoxy finish and includes an internal anti-corrosion cortec lining to enhance durability. The air compressor is waterproof, oil-less, and built with a permanent magnetic motor, ensuring long-lasting, dependable operation.
Installation. Installation of the system is moderately challenging, requiring some mechanical expertise to mount the compressor, air tank, and horns. Basic drilling and mounting are required to securely fit the modular horn components and onboard air system to various vehicle chassis.
