Simple Installation. Installing this hood trim is quite simple since it is pre-applied with automotive-grade tape. To install, clean the hood surface first with soap and water. The presence of dirt makes the trim not adhere properly, so don’t skip this step. Once the surface is dry, align your new trim and carefully remove its tape backing. Apply a firm yet gentle force over the trim, so it will durably stick on the surface.
