Description
High-Temperature Insulation. The Hushmat Ultra Hoodliner Heat Reflective Pads (12-Inch x 23-Inch) provide superior thermal insulation for automotive hoods, especially under high engine heat conditions. Designed for use on the engine side of vehicle hoods, these pads help reduce heat transfer, protecting custom paint jobs and improving vehicle comfort.
Construction and Appearance. Made from a proprietary self-adhesive butyl rubber compound laminated with flexible, paintable aluminum foil, these pads feature a black polymer front with a slim aluminum backing. This durable 2.0 mm-thick material is designed to be flexible and mold easily to complex surfaces without the need for special tools or chemical surface preparation.
Installation. Installation is user-friendly and requires no drilling or special tools. The pads can be easily cut and shaped, and their self-adhesive backing enables quick application on various hood configurations.
Application. This product fits universally but may require some adaptation depending on the vehicle. It is suitable for use on a wide range of vehicles for underhood insulation and noise reduction purposes.
