With a free-flowing, mandrel-bent intake tube and a high-flow filter, your engine will get a bigger supply of cool, clean air. This helps boost your engine performance in terms of horsepower and torque output. You’ll also notice a big improvement in throttle response with this short ram cold air intake.
No Custom Tuning Needed. This short ram cold air intake doesn’t need a custom tune after installation. For vehicles with multiple upgrades, however, a custom tune will be beneficial. The process will reprogram the ECU and make sure that all upgrades will deliver the best performance.
HPS Washable High-Flow Filter. HPS chose a washable high-flow HPS filter for this short ram cold air intake. The filter has a bigger surface area so it can trap more contaminants, even the smallest particles that some filters might let through. Moreover, you can wash and reuse this filter multiple times. You can also drive for up to 100,000 before you need to clean it again, saving you a lot of time and effort.
Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Inlet Pipe. To give your engine more air faster than ever, this short ram cold air intake uses a wide mandrel-bent aluminum inlet pipe. The design allows more air to flow much more smoothly, letting your engine breathe the air it needs. The pipe also helps keep the correct air-fuel levels. The pipe is finished with a stylish, rugged-looking wrinkle black powder coat.
Quick and Simple Installation. There’s no need for cutting, drilling, or welding to install this short ram cold air intake. All you need are basic tools and the enclosed mounting hardware for quick and easy 1-hour installation.
Comes With a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This short ram cold air intake comes with a limited lifetime warranty against material and workmanship defects.
No CARB Certificate. This short ram air intake doesn’t have a CARB certification. It’s not legal for sale or street use in California and states that have adopted CARB regulations.
