Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch Inlet and Outlet provides enhanced horsepower and torque with a mild, refined exhaust tone. It is designed for use on trucks, SUVs, motorhomes, and performance street vehicles where controlled sound and durability are essential.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel with a high-temperature painted finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The fully MIG welded chambers and an enlarged case incorporate proprietary Delta Flow® technology to optimize sound control and power efficiency.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. This universal muffler requires some adaptation for installation and is not a direct fit. It uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with clamp-on or weld-on options and requires new hangers, which are not included. No specialized drilling is typically necessary.
_x000D__x000D_Application. This muffler fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to fit OEM exhaust systems. It is ideal for classic muscle cars, street/strip vehicles, trucks, and SUVs where mild sound and improved engine efficiency are desired.
