Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2-Inch Inlet/2-Inch Outlet is designed to deliver a moderate sound level while minimizing interior resonance for a more comfortable driving experience. It enhances horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency, making it an excellent choice for street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and street/strip applications. This muffler provides the iconic Flowmaster Delta Flow sound with improved performance and durability.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded to provide maximum strength and longevity. It features a high-temperature black painted finish that adds to its aggressive look while offering resistance to corrosion and heat damage. The three-chamber Delta Flow design includes an internal tuning chamber to reduce sound inside the vehicle while maintaining a strong exterior tone.
Installation. Installation is simple with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. Although it uses new hangers that are not included and some adaptation may be necessary, no drilling or special tools are typically required.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles, suitable for 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs. Some adaptation may be needed for proper fitment.
