Performance Chambered Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet delivers aggressive sound with improved exhaust flow. Designed for street, strip, and off-road use, it enhances scavenging for better engine performance while reducing interior resonance.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made with durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum strength, the muffler features a high-temperature black painted finish that resists corrosion and maintains appearance under harsh conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit connections and allows for either clamp-on or weld-on attachment. New hangers are required but not included, and some adaptation may be necessary for universal fitment.
_x000D__x000D_Application. This muffler fits a wide variety of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs; universal fitment requires some adaptation.
