The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and 2.50-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver an aggressive exhaust tone along with enhanced scavenging for improved flow. Designed for street, strip, and off-road use, it produces a milder exterior sound and reduces interior resonance compared to standard mufflers, making it suitable for various automotive applications.

Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for long-lasting durability, this muffler features a high-temperature black paint finish that resists heat and corrosion. Its chambered design incorporates Flowmaster’s Delta Flow technology, using delta deflectors to optimize exhaust scavenging and sound reduction.

Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on methods. New hangers are necessary but not included, and some adaptation may be required for an ideal fit.
