The Flowmaster 225 Series Enhanced Duty Catalytic Converter with a 2.50-inch inlet and outlet is designed to meet federal EPA emissions requirements, reducing harmful vehicle emissions while maintaining engine performance. Its enhanced duty construction means it is built to withstand harsher conditions and provide longer service life compared to standard-duty converters.
Durable and Efficient Design. Featuring a stainless steel clam shell body with an oval shape, this converter houses a ceramic substrate engineered for optimal emission control efficiency. The natural stainless steel finish provides corrosion resistance while maintaining an attractive appearance. A heat shield is included to protect surrounding components and improve durability.
Installation Requirements. This catalytic converter requires professional welding and/or fabrication for proper installation. Due to its universal fit design, some customization and adaptation to specific vehicle exhaust systems are almost always necessary to achieve optimal fit and compliance. No clamps or hangers are included.
Reliable Warranty Coverage. The converter includes a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year/50,000-mile warranty on the exterior case, giving confidence in its long-term reliability and performance.
Application Limitations. Suitable for universal applications where adaptations can be made. This product is not legal for sale or use in California or in any states that have adopted California emissions standards.
