It serves as a vital component in vehicle emissions systems, ensuring compliance with federal EPA standards without triggering malfunction indicator lights (MIL). This converter is intended for universal applications requiring welding or fabrication for installation.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable stainless steel outer shell, this catalytic converter features a spun round body for strength and longevity. Inside, a ceramic substrate is utilized, engineered with premium-grade precious metal loading for efficient catalytic conversion. The natural finish of the stainless steel provides corrosion resistance and a clean appearance.
Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication, making it suitable for qualified technicians. No drilling is necessary, but precise fitting and professional skills are needed to ensure proper seal and function.
Warranty. This product carries a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year/50,000-mile warranty on the exterior case.
Application. Universal fitment requiring some adaptation; however, it is not legal for sale or use on vehicles licensed or operated in California.
