      Description

      Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and Outlet is engineered to deliver excellent performance and a deep, aggressive exhaust tone ideal for high horsepower and forced induction applications. Suitable for both street and strip use, it enhances sound quality while reducing interior resonance for an engaging driving experience.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel and featuring full MIG welding, this muffler offers long-lasting reliability. It is finished in high-temperature black paint that resists heat and corrosion, complementing the aesthetic of performance vehicles.

      Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and minor adaptation. The muffler utilizes slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with clamp-on or weld-on options. Although no drilling is generally needed, new hangers are necessary for mounting and are sold separately.

      Warranty. This muffler comes with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for customer assurance.

      Application. Designed to fit a wide range of vehicles universally, some adaptation may be necessary to ensure proper fitment depending on the exhaust system configuration.
