The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Center/Center Race Muffler with 4-Inch Inlet and 4-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound and effective decibel reduction over open headers. Designed specifically for racing applications requiring mufflers, it provides excellent power characteristics without restricting exhaust flow.

Construction and Appearance. Built from durable 409 stainless steel with a fully welded 16-gauge thick two-chamber design, this muffler incorporates Flowmaster’s proven Delta Flow technology, which eliminates internal packing to prevent blowouts. It features a high-temperature painted black finish that improves durability and resists corrosion under racing conditions.

Installation. Features slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. This universal race muffler may require some adaptation during installation. No special drilling is necessary; however, new hangers are needed and must be sourced separately.

Application. Suitable for universal applications with some required adaptation, fitting classic and late model muscle cars as well as race vehicles, offering versatility across various platforms.
