Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 3-Inch Inlet and 2.50-Inch Outlet delivers aggressive sound using advanced Delta Flow® technology, which increases scavenging for improved performance while minimizing interior resonance. Designed for street and strip applications, it provides a balanced exterior tone with enhanced exhaust flow suitable for multiple vehicle types.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a durable high-temperature painted finish that offers corrosion resistance. Its chambered design incorporates fully MIG-welded joints, ensuring strength and durability. The muffler is finished in sleek black for a professional look.
Installation. Installation uses slip-fit connections with clamp-on or weld-on methods and does not require drilling. It mounts using new hangers, which are not included. Some adaptation may be necessary for universal fitment.
Application. This muffler fits universal applications, but some adaptation may be required depending on the vehicle. It is compatible with a range of vehicles including muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, trucks, and SUVs equipped with 4- or 6-cylinder engines.
