The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to provide increased scavenging through unique Delta Flow technology, resulting in improved exhaust flow and reduced interior sound levels. Designed for street and strip applications, this muffler produces an aggressive exterior sound while maintaining reduced interior resonance.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It features a black high-temperature paint finish that offers resistance to heat and corrosion, enhancing both durability and aesthetic appeal.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with universal slip-fit and clamp-on or weld-on connection options. The muffler mounts using new hangers which are not included; some adaptation may be necessary depending on the vehicle setup.
