Description
Aggressive Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler with 2.25-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet is engineered to enhance exhaust scavenging and improve overall performance. It delivers the aggressive exhaust tone preferred by many automotive enthusiasts, providing a balanced sound with reduced interior resonance ideal for street, strip, and off-road use.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16-gauge aluminized steel with fully MIG-welded seams, this muffler is built for durability and long life. It features a high-temperature black paint finish that resists corrosion and adds a clean, finished look suitable for performance and street applications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on mounting. While no drilling is typically needed, new hangers are required for mounting but are not included with the muffler.
Application. This muffler offers universal fitment that may require some adaptation during installation. It is compatible with various vehicle types, including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs.
