Description
High Performance Catalytic Converter. The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter, featuring 2-inch inlet and outlet diameters and 49-state legal status, is designed to reduce harmful emissions while maintaining engine performance. It is ideal for custom applications, particularly in pre-OBDII racing vehicles and vintage hot rods that were not originally equipped with catalytic converters.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The converter boasts a durable stainless steel housing with a compact, spun round body measuring 4 inches in diameter by 8 inches long. It contains a high flow 200-cell metallic substrate engineered to withstand severe duty and high temperature conditions, finished with a natural metal appearance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit weld-on inlet and outlet connections. No special drilling is required, though some adaptation may be necessary to ensure a secure fit for specific applications.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. This product includes a 25,000-mile performance and emissions warranty along with a 5-year or 50,000-mile case warranty.
Application. Universal fitment; some adaptation may be required. It is not CARB compliant and is not legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles or in California and states that follow California’s emissions standards.
