Description
Six Inches of Lift. Your Tundra's stock suspension can be limited when it comes to off-roading, that's why you need a lift kit that was specifically designed to take on the great outdoors. Luckily, this Performance 6-inch Lift Kit from Fabtech has just what you need to help you drive over boulders, fallen logs, and other trail obstacles. With 6-inches of lift, this kit can accommodate tires up to 35 x 12.5 in size mounted on 18 or 20-inch wheels. This Fabtech 6-inch Performance Lift System features iron steering knuckles as well as steel lift blocks and strut spacers for extra strength. What’s more, the included Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover and 2.25 Rear Shocks provide a comfortable ride, even when tested across rough terrain.
Dirt Logic Coilovers and Shocks. The included Dirt Logic Coilovers and Shock Absorbers have been specially tuned to work in conjunction with the other components in the Kit, resulting in superior ride control. The Coilovers feature a 2.5-inch OD stainless steel body, 2.25-inch OD billet aluminum piston, and a 7/8-inch thick NitroSteel black piston rod with cold wound coil springs, to provide incredible dampening capacity for aggressive off-road driving. The Shocks feature a 2.25-inch OD stainless steel body, 2.0-inch OD billet aluminum piston, and a 7/8-inch thick NitroSteel black piston rod, making them significantly tougher when compared to stock.
Iron Steering Knuckles. Fabtech includes a set of heavy duty replacement steering knuckles in their 6-inch Performance Lift Kit. These extended length steering knuckles are manufactured from ductile iron for superior strength. These knuckles have been designed to operate within the factory steering geometry.
Lift Blocks and Spacers. The included Strut Spacers and Rear Lift Blocks include in this Performance Lift Kit have been manufactured from high grade steel for superior strength and extra rigidity. The components are then completed in a durable black powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Welding Required. This is not a bolt-on kit. It should be noted that cutting, drilling and welding is required for installation. With all the necessary hardware included, this Lift kit can be installed in about 8 to 10 hours time. Professional installation is highly recommended.
