Description
Durable Off-Road Protection. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Replacement Pads in Delrin are designed to replace worn skid surfaces on hitch-mounted skids that have experienced regular trail use. These pads restore essential protection to the rear hitch area, safeguarding against damage from rough terrain during off-road driving. They provide an easy solution to maintain the effectiveness of the original skid plates without replacing the entire assembly.
Construction and Appearance. These replacement pads come in two material options, Delrin or aluminum, catering to different levels of off-road abuse. The Delrin pads are 1/2" thick, made from a durable yet lightweight polymer ideal for average trail conditions. The aluminum pads are 3/8" thick, offering enhanced durability for more extreme terrains. Both materials feature a robust finish to resist wear and impact, ensuring longevity on the trail.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a bolt-on design that requires no drilling or vehicle modifications. The included hardware allows for a hassle-free replacement process that can be completed in approximately 30 minutes.
