Description
Dana 44 Front Differential Skid Plate. The DV8 Offroad Dana 44 Front Differential Skid Plate is designed to protect the factory front axle housing from damage caused by rocks and rough terrain. It serves as a shield for one of the most vulnerable and heavily stressed components on off-road vehicles, helping to prevent costly differential damage during off-road excursions.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 3/16-inch plate steel, the skid plate offers robust protection while maintaining durability. It features a bolt-on design that simplifies installation without the need for drilling. The powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance and a rugged look suitable for off-road use.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling the differential cover or casting. Due to its design, a lift kit is required for proper clearance, and clearance on the track bar should be checked during installation.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. This product includes a one-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Specifically fits 2020-2022 Jeep Gladiator JT models. It does not fit models equipped with factory suspension or the 392 and 4xe versions due to clearance and differential design differences.
