Description
Spare Tire Protection. The DV8 Offroad Spare Tire Guard and Accessory Mount is engineered to reinforce the Bronco’s tailgate when fitted with larger tires, minimizing flex caused by the added weight on the factory carrier. It enhances security by accommodating locking pins to help prevent theft, while ensuring the OEM backup camera remains fully visible. This accessory is perfect for those upgrading to bigger tires and wanting to strengthen and secure their vehicle's rear setup.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 3.5mm steel plate combined with 1.5mm and 2mm steel tubing, this spare tire guard features a micro-texture black powder coat finish for excellent corrosion resistance and a rugged look. It also includes a removable aluminum accent panel that can be painted to match the vehicle or other aftermarket parts, blending functionality with style.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and bolt-on with no drilling required, making it accessible for most users with an estimated completion time of around two hours. Assistance is recommended to simplify the process but is not mandatory.
Warranty. This product carries a one-year limited warranty covering workmanship and materials from the date of purchase.
