The Heat Shroud 16 AN x 10-Foot provides superior protection for lines, hoses, and wires by shielding them from high temperatures, abrasion, oil, dirt, and road grime without requiring disconnection. Its flexible design allows easy wrapping to existing components, ensuring critical systems remain safe from heat damage in demanding automotive environments.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric, the shroud features a reflective aluminized outer layer combined with 19 oz heat-treated fiberglass insulation. It is reinforced with aramid thread for enhanced heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame retardant performance. This rugged yet flexible construction allows it to conform to tight bends and harsh conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and tool-free, requiring no removal of lines or hoses. The shroud can be cut to the desired length and secured using its hook-and-loop closure, enabling quick application and easy adjustment.
Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required.
