Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD, 0.50-inch x 36-inch, is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat and abrasion, extending their service life. It wraps critical components, reflecting radiant heat away to keep them cool and flexible in high-temperature environments.
Construction and Appearance. This heat sheath is constructed from high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base. It features a gold metalized polyamide finish reinforced with aramid thread for superior heat resistance, durability, and flame retardancy.
Installation. Installing the Heat Sheath GOLD is straightforward with no drilling required. Simply unhook the line or hose, cut the sheath to the desired length, slide it on, and secure it back in place.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required. This product should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
