Description
SecureLatch Pintle Hook. The 2-inch receiver hitch SecureLatch Pintle Hook, rated for 14,000 lbs, allows effortless and secure towing by automatically locking the primary latch when a lunette ring is dropped onto the hook. This design reduces movement and noise between the hook and trailer lunette ring, providing safer and quieter towing ideal for heavy-duty applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from austempered cast iron, this pintle hook offers superior strength and wear resistance. It features a durable battleship grey powder coat finish, complemented by bright gold zinc-plated hardware, ensuring excellent exterior durability and long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires no special tools or drilling, as it fits standard 2-inch by 2-inch receiver hitches. The built-in back plate positions the lunette ring accurately for easier hookup.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty, including one year coverage on finish and parts.
Application. Designed for universal trailer hitch compatibility; however, some adaptation may be necessary depending on specific configurations. It couples with lunette rings measuring 2-1/2 inches or 3 inches inside diameter.
