Integrated Weight Distribution. The 2-Inch Light-Duty TruTrack Weight Distribution Receiver Hitch; 5,000 to 8,000 lb. is designed to combine weight distribution and sway control into one integrated system for improved towing stability and safety. Its unique spring and cam mechanism actively resists trailer sway while evenly distributing tongue weight across all axles, enhancing control and providing a smooth ride for trailers within its weight range.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable carbon steel, this hitch features a carbide black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and a robust industrial chrome-plated cam system. The head assembly is welded with cast pieces for a solid, reliable attachment point, and the spring bars are forged steel with a trunnion style for enhanced durability.
Installation. Installation is simplified by adjustable brackets and an innovative tilt adjustment system using interlocking nuts and preset holes, allowing quick setup without disassembly of the hitch head. Typically, no drilling is required, making this a user-friendly option for most A-frame trailers.
Warranty. This hitch includes a limited lifetime warranty, with one-year coverage on finish and parts.
