Construction And Appearance. This short block features a high-strength cast iron block, fully machined and manufactured in the USA for quality assurance. It includes a forged steel crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, forged H-beam connecting rods measuring 6.385 inches, and forged pistons with a 15cc dish to achieve an 8.5:1 compression ratio. The rotating assembly is internally balanced front and rear, and the block is equipped with a mechanical fuel pump provision, a one-piece rear main seal, and splayed four-bolt mains for enhanced durability, complemented by a standard deck and a 4.500-inch bore.

Installation. Installation requires a moderate level of mechanical skill. The block’s design allows straightforward integration with existing components and configurations, compatible with standard big block setups without the need for custom modifications.
