Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Upgrade. The Baer SS4 Rear Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Black Calipers is engineered to provide enhanced braking performance and reliability for demanding driving conditions. This upgrade system offers increased stopping power and improved rotor construction suited for the rear axle of Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT models equipped with original equipment rear ends.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are precisely CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum for strength and reduced weight, featuring a durable powder coat finish. The 13-inch rotors are zinc plated and slotted to resist corrosion and support heat management. Hard anodized aluminum pistons with stainless steel abutments and noise suppression clips enhance durability and help reduce noise. Dual dust/weather and pressure seals provide protection against contaminants.
Installation. Installation includes all necessary mounting brackets and hardware, designed to work with existing parking brake components. This kit does not include brake hoses and is intended for use with the OE parking brake system. Wheel fitment requires a minimum 17-inch diameter, and fitment should be verified using the provided template.
Application. This kit fits 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018-current Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020-current Jeep Gladiator JT with OE rear ends. Compatibility depends on the original rear axle setup and wheel clearance verification.
