      Description

      PRECISE OIL TEMPERATURE MONITORING. The Auto Meter C2 Series 2-1/16-Inch Oil Temperature Gauge; 140-300 Fahrenheit is designed to provide accurate and reliable readings of an engine's oil temperature. It allows users to monitor this critical parameter to ensure proper oil viscosity and that the oil cooling system is functioning correctly, helping to prevent engine damage.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This gauge features a durable air-core electric movement with modern blue LED through-the-dial lighting for excellent visibility in all lighting conditions. It includes a single wire, 1/8” NPT temperature sender, along with 3/8" and 1/2" NPT adapter fittings and mounting hardware. The gauge is compatible with both 12 and 16-volt electrical systems commonly found in street and race vehicles.

      INSTALLATION. Installation involves mounting the gauge with the included hardware and connecting the temperature sender with minimal wiring. Depending on the vehicle and mounting location, drilling may be required.
