Serious Rear Axle Upgrade. Give your Wrangler TJ a serious rear axle upgrade with the Artec Industries Triangulated 14 Bolt Swap Kit with Truss. As capable as your Jeep’s Dana 35 or 44 rear axle is, the GM 14-bolt rear axle offers a number of benefits, including strength. This rear axle swap kit lets you swap out your factory axle with the GM 14-bolt 1-ton rear axle in a manner that allows its proper fitment underneath your vehicle. Additionally, all brackets necessary for mounting the various suspension components (such as shocks are coils) are included for convenience.
Smooth and Strong Performance. The Artec Industries Triangulated 14 Bolt Swap Kit with Truss triangulates your Jeep’s upper control arms in a way that eliminates the need for a trackbar. This feature saves a lot of space in your axle area, ensuring your new 14-bolt rear axle clears your Jeep’s suspension components, as well as providing exceptionally smooth handling both on- and off-road. This swap kit’s truss also provides your new rear axle with even greater stiffness, letting you take on extremely difficult off-road trails with confidence. Please note that this kit won’t work with OEM control arms. Additionally, new frame side brackets and upper links are required.
Heavy-Duty Precision Craftsmanship. The Artec Industries Triangulated 14 Bolt Swap Kit is CNC-cut from heavy-duty steel, ensuring the individual pieces fit precisely together. Interlocking tabs are crafted into each piece making pre-assembly a breeze. The upper truss section is 0.375-inch thick, while the truss gussets and brackets are 0.25-inch thick for excellent rigidity. Finally, all the pieces are left raw, letting you finish the assembly in a color of your choosing.
Professional Installation Recommended. Assembly and installation of the Artec Industries Triangulated 14 Bolt Swap Kit with Truss requires extensive welding and grinding. Painting is also required once the truss has been installed onto your new 14-bolt rear axle. As such, professional installation is highly recommended.
