      Description

      Steering Assembly Upgrade. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Drag Link Assembly with Flip Kit; It provides enhanced steering reliability and durability by replacing the factory drag link with a stronger, corrosion-resistant aluminum sleeve and forged steel ends. This assembly is essential for maintaining precise steering control, especially when running lifted suspension setups requiring the flip mount configuration.

      Construction and Appearance. This drag link assembly features a SAE 1045 solid forged steel housing, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. The ball studs are crafted from SAE 4140 chromoly steel with induction heat treatment for superior toughness. The polished aluminum adjusting sleeve combines functionality with an appealing aesthetic. Additional components such as CR rubber accordion boots protect internal parts from contamination and wear, while E-coated drag link ends provide excellent corrosion resistance.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and the use of a 7/8" drill bit to drill through the knuckle drag link mount. The kit includes ProLock washers and jam nuts with integrated set screws to ensure a secure, rotation-free connection. Proper thread engagement is visually marked to prevent assembly errors.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2020 through 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models equipped with stock Dana 30 and Dana 44 front axles configured in the flipped top mount location. It is not compatible with undermount setups or heavily lifted vehicles requiring alternate kits.
